The catalyzing spark for Develop CHI happened in a hospital January 2016. My mother suffered a brain aneurysm leaving her paralyzed and in a coma. Doctors were unsure if she would survive. Faced with the thought of losing my mother, my model for love, strength, courage, and bad assery, I was devastated. At that time I was 6 years into my massage practice, having facilitated a few thousand healings by then. I'd helped countless clients and their families, but the help my mother needed was well beyond my capabilities. Feeling the greatest pain ever, lost, scared, defeated, and spiraling out of control, I had to accept this was my new reality. It was in that moment of acceptance, the agony deep in the pit of my stomach, met my inner Alchemist. This began the Transmutation, igniting a ferocious fire in my soul. The Warrior was awakened and I knew exactly how to make myself useful! Since I couldn't help my mother, I vowed to help all mothers, all families, the world.
